#AGU18 in Washington, DC
Last week I attended the AGU Fall Meeting in Washington, DC. With over 28,000 attendees, the meeting was an exciting one! This was my first AGU meeting and I really enjoyed it. The quality of presentations (both talks and posters) was really impressive. Also, the amount of international participation was excellent. I presented a poster entitled 'Satellite Scatterometer Estimation of Urban Built-up Volume:Validation with Airborne Lidar Data' (see abstract here) co-authored by Amy Frazier (Arizona State University), Son Nghiem and Gregory Neumann (NASA JPL), and Yun Zhao (University of Illinois at Springfield). I got some great feedback on the poster. I look forward to attending future AGU meetings!
