Presentation at #ELDAAG2022

It was a pleasure to attend the East Lakes AAG annual meeting this October at Muskegon Community College in Muskegon, Michigan. I presented work with coauthors Dr. Lisa DeChano-Cook and Cindy Bloom on improving middle school teaching and learning about geographic concepts through hands-on play (e.g., LEGO, Play-Doh) and geospatial technologies (e.g., drones, GIS). This work was conducted prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and actually was stopped when lockdowns occurred in 2020. We were happy to share the results of this project that was supported by a Centennial Grant from the American Geophysical Union.
