AGU Centennial grant awarded

My departmental colleague and I recently were awarded a grant from the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Centennial Grnat Program. The project, STEM Tools for Community-based Landscape Mapping, will support our engagement with Comstock Middle School here in Kalamazoo County. We will be in the classroom using a variety of fun toys and tools such as web maps, drones, LEGOs, and Play-Doh to support teaching and learning about topographic mapping and spatial thinking. Excited stuff for sure! More to come on this project.
