Today I presented some of my and my co-authors (Amy Frazier--Arizona State University and Son Nghiem--NASA JPL) research entitled 'Advanced geospatial methodologies for three-dimensional characterization of urban areas' at the Pre-Conference Meeting of the IGU Commission on Local and Regional Development hosted by the Department of Geography at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. The talk provided an overview of several ongoing projects using radar and lidar data to examine the urban environment. We plan to present more detailed results at the 2018 AGU Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C.
