GIS Research Talk at MSU-Denver
I visited the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Metropolitan State University of Denver today and gave their inaugural 'GIS Research Talk.' The presentation, 'Unmanned aerial systems: a new frontier for geospatial data generation and analysis,' covered a wide range of aspects of UAS integration into the geosciences (e.g., UAS platforms, UAS-based data collection and legal flight, SfM-MVS data processing, applications and current research projects). The event was really well attended and students had great questions for me following the talk. Thank you all for attending! Also, thank you very much Dr. David Parr for the invitation and for organizing the event!
