Ellis wins Women’s Faculty Council Student Research Award
Today at a reception held at the Edmon Low Library, Emily Ellis was recognized by Oklahoma State University's Women’s Faculty Council as a Student Research Award winner for 2017 in recognition of her high quality research. As a MS student at OSU, Emily has successfully completed her thesis entitled 'An Optimal Object-based Approach to Identify Urban Vegetation and Asses Change: A Study of Oklahoma City, 2006-2013' as well as published articles in journals such as Applied Geography, Urban Ecosystems, the International Journal of Remote Sensing, and the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction.
